AN art student from Winchester is hoping to find fame by portraying fame.
Daniel Clayton, 22, a painting student at Winchester College of Art has chosen the theme of ageing celebrities for his first ever exhibition at the city's Tower Arts Centre.
South African born Daniel, of Jewry Street, said: "It's a bit of a clich, but the people are kind of out of date, they are almost fading into the background."
His exhibition, Fading Faces, includes portraits of Mick Jagger, Annie Lennox and Michael Jackson.
"This exhibition is a new experience for me," said Daniel, who is partially deaf. "I'm passionate about painting and I'd like to go on to make a living from it."
Fading Faces is running until November 19.
