ANDOVER lined up a Hampshire Senior Cup second round tie with BAT Sports after overcoming a determined Brockenhurst, who were playing their seventh cup tie of the season and who were up to then unbeaten in them.
But Lions were forced to take the lead three times before finally making Brock submit in what was a fine game in chilly conditions on a near perfect pitch.
Lions boss Brian Le Boutillier was again without strikers Phil Andrews, on the bench with a dead leg from Tuesday, and Danny Sullivan, on pre-natal duties, and drafted Matt Styles back into the side to partner the hard-running Justin Bennett up front.
