THE EIGHTH annual Glenn Longland Two-day Classic was won by 22-year-old Neil Coleman of French professional team Alcan Bianchi.
In high winds on the prologue stage on Wicks Hill, Downton, Coleman pulled a 14-second advantage over Phil Smith (Sotonia CC).
Stage 2, the 50km handicap road race, consisted of two testing circuits of the north west of the New Forest.
Former professional Trevor Horton led for most of the second lap, but was caught just 400yards from the finish by Coleman, with Darren Morrissey of Swindon second.
In Sunday's 44km time trial on Whitsbury Down, Malcolm Cox (VC St Raphael) managed to beat Coleman by 31 seconds in a time of 1hr 2m 06sec, with Ian Ayliffe (Salisbury) third.
