THE Gazette can exclusively reveal The Anvil has released tickets for this year's pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.
The show will run from Friday, December 16, 2004 until Sunday, January 9, 2005.
Written especially by Chris Jarvis from Cbeebies, who played Buttons in last year's panto Cinderella, it will be produced by The Anvil and UK Productions.
Playing the role of The Fairy will be Anne Charleston (pictured).
She played Madge in Neighbours and starred latterly in Crossroads.
Children's television presenter Anna Williamson (CITV's Rescue Robots and Scary Sleepover) will play Jack.
The cast also includes Tony Scannell (Ted Roache from The Bill) as Fleshcreep, Gra-ham Seed (Nigel Pargetter from The Archers) as King, Alistair Divall (ITV's Keynotes) as Simple Simon and Stephen David as Dame Trott.
After last year's record-breaking production, tickets are sure to sell fast, so groups and schools are particularly urged to reserve their seats now.
Ticket prices for Jack and the Beanstalk start at £11.50 for children and £14.50 for adults. However, there are various discounts and concessions for families and groups.
