UNLIKE any other performance, Flames of the Dance is a show that has taken every form of dance and movement, mixed it all up and created a blend of rhythm, dance and joy.
Taking to their feet at the Southampton Guildhall in November, the dancing team is a revue with a difference.
Presenting a range of styles from Irish Dance, as made famous in Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, to American tap, the show involves a number of dance soloists who have come from a selection of original shows and have joined together on one stage.
The show features a cast made up of highly trained international dancers, who incorporate many dance styles such as ballet, Latin, rock 'n' roll, tango, retro-swing dance and samba to create a show of unique character.
The show develops as the different dance styles challenge each other, compliment each other and eventually blend perfectly.
With simple costumes so as not to draw the eye from the real action, Flames of the Dance is all in all, a production of pure dance, narrative, and memorable moments.
Tickets are priced from £13. The performance is at 7.30pm. For more information, call the box office on 023 8063 2601.
