ROBOT wars erupted at an Alresford school as pupils and their dads vied to make the best creations.
Sun Hill Junior School became a battleground with a series of robot contests, involving up to 200 children and adults.
The school set up the workshops to encourage male adults to get involved in education. Head teacher Rhod Porch said; "We are delighted to be teaming up with local IT experts in order to bring such a worthwhile range of activities into our school."
"It was a great opportunity for the children to bring their male relatives into Sun Hill and share with them the experience of learning new skills through building robots and competing in a really exciting and fun way."
Many of those taking part dressed as robots competing in contests for best robot, best dressed robot and winner of the robot joust.
