A GROUP of property professionals, including surveyors and solicitors, put on their tennis gear and grabbed their rackets in an event which raised £230 for Wessex Cancer Trust.
The afternoon was sponsored by Rokeagle, a subsidiary of Rok Property Solutions, and Property Week.
It included almost four hours of enjoyable but competitive tennis at the Hampshire Tennis Club West End, near Southampton.
A raffle following the tournament raised the £230 for Wessex Cancer Trust with each competitor giving generously.
The prizes included a signed picture of Anna Kournikova - which was ironically won by Lisa Allison of the Harbour Economic Development Forum - the only female tennis player on the day!
Richard Stileman of Rokeagle, which has a base at Whiteley, near Fareham, said: "We are pleased to have been able to make a contribution to such a worthwhile charity."
Tim Titheridge, a director of Rokeagle and vice chairman of the Wessex Cancer Trust, said: "Our thanks go to those who have given so generously - especially after having played tennis for hours."
