Fair Oak teenager Andy Chapman wrote himself into the record books when he became the first player to take a hat-trick in the NatWest Hampshire Under-16 Indoor League at the Rose Bowl.
Chapman's three-wicket feat - he finished with a 3 for 12 return - swept Fair Oak to a 42-run win over South Wilts.
Ally Francis (44 not out) and Tom Hockenhull (26) had already steered Oaks to 117 for 5 before Chapman reduced South Wilts from 61 for 1 to 75 all out.
Fair Oak didn't do so well against the Isle of Wight - inaccurate bowling ruining any slim hopes they had of defending a modest 95.
Hockenhull (32) again batted well, but with a plethora of wides being sent down, the Islanders won easily.
Ben Wadmore hit a Rose Bowl best 83 not out as the Island piled up 162 for 5 against South Wilts.
Left on his own at the crease at 97 for 5, the GKN left-hander scored 59 of his runs off the last four overs.
South Wilts were dismissed for 68.
