NEW STREET'S first ever sojourn ended in gallant defeat at a damp Foxcotte Park on Saturday when the visitors snatched victory with 15 minutes to go when substitute Cav Ferris netted with his first touch.
It was hard lines for the young New Street side who had battled hard against their first division opponents who dominated for much of the game without ever looking like overwhelming the Carmel Construction-backed Division Two side.
