ANDOVER'S reign at the top of the Wessex League came to halt on Tuesday night with defeat at home coupled with Winchester City's 8-0 demolition of Bournemouth Poppies.
Once again Lions were much changed as Colin Hopkins and Brendan Summers were unavailable and Glen Damen and Danny Lewis were injured or suspended.
They gave a debut to reserve keeper Luke Haviland and in the very first attack within 90 seconds Darren Crook unleashed a piledriver which the young keeper parried high, but as the home crowd were applauding a save, the ball dropped from above and nestled in the net.
