Three divers from the Masters Squad at Southampton Diving Academy travelled to Dublin for the GBDF (Great Britain Diving Federation) Masters Open Championships.
Continuing the excellent form they showed at the World Championships in June, the trio brought home five medals between them - two bronze, two silver and one gold.
In an international field, including teams from Italy, USA and Germany, there was stiff competition from 85 divers.
Events were divided into age categories, Southampton entrants competing in either the 25-29 or 30-39 year age bands.
Most successful diver from Southampton was Sam Youles, who took medals in all three of her events - gold on highboard and silver in her two springboard events.
Ben Toner took bronze on both 3m springboard and the highboard and came fifth on the 1m springboard.
Making a last minute entry, as she has been unable to train throughout the summer, Sarah Bayless, who had travelled to the competition as a spectator, made a creditable showing to take fifth place in the 1m springboard.
Director of coaching Lindsey Fraser was delighted with the team's success.
"These are excellent results in such an extensive international field," she said. "This squad has extended its training this year and their commitment is definitely showing dividends." Full results:
1m, 25 - 29 years: Ben Toner, 5th; Sarah Bayless, 5th; 30 - 39 years: Sam Youles, silver 3m; 25 - 29 years: Ben Toner, bronze; 30 - 39 years: Sam Youles, silver; highboard; 25 - 29 years: Ben Toner, bronze; 30 - 39 years: Sam Youles, gold.
