A Fareham barworker's high-energy cocktail-making routines have caught the eye of judges at the regional final of the UK's best bartender contest.
Peta Mitchell, 22, from Locks Heath is one of five regional champions who will compete for the best in UK title in London in November.
Peta, who has been working at TGI Friday's in Park Gate for two-and-a-half years, said: "Being tested from a recipe manual that has over 500 cocktails is quite daunting, but as long as I'm asked to mix my favourite, a Purple Rain, I'll be laughing.
"The team spirit here at Fareham is great, which has given me the confidence I need to progress to the final."
Contenders for the crown qualified from almost 300 entrants for the regional final by completing assessments including a tough written exam.
The UK's best bartender will enjoy a share of almost £18,000 worth of prizes and represent the UK at the European Cocktail Making Championships in Malta, with the chance of a place at the World Championships in America next year.
