MEET Southampton's very own Miss Monopoly.

Emma Lacey is Monopoly mad.

The 29-year-old has collected 30 versions of the popular property trading board game from around the world.

As if that wasn't enough, she has a large pub-style Monopoly quiz machine installed in her lounge.

And Emma even has a Monopoly game on her mobile phone - meaning she can play her favourite game anytime and any place.

Emma, of Arnheim Close, Lordswood, is currently waiting for an inflatable version of the game to be delivered.

Now the self-confessed Monopoholic's collection is to expand even further after she won a competition to find Southampton's biggest Monopoly fan.

Emma, who was nominated by her grandmother, said: "My nan wrote in for me but she loves the game as much as I do.

"I have played Monopoly ever since I was a child. Lots of games in my collection have been bought on my trips to America or have come from friends who have gone on holiday."

Emma, who works as a human resources adviser for a large DIY retailer, said reds were her favourite colour to buy.

Her Monopoly collection includes sets from the 1950s and French, Pokemon and cat versions.

Now she is to receive £200 of games - including the forthcoming and long-awaited Southampton edition, which is due to hit the shops on October 21.

Southampton Monopoly promoter Graham Barnes said: "Our thanks to everyone who entered the competition. We had a Monopoly top hat load of entries.

"Emma won because of her collection and her enthusiasm for the game, which seems absolutely boundless. Congratulations to her."
