SHE'S worked for 40 years at Winchester's Royal Hampshire County Hospital but this dedicated member of staff believes there's still more to learn about her job.
Patricia Butler joined the ranks straight from school in September 1964 and has never looked back.
Patricia now works in the microbiology department but she started in the Public Health Laboratory, now the Pathology Department.
"I have enjoyed all my time here. It has flown by. The job is always interesting and there have been so many changes in the techniques used," she said.
Chief executive Rod Halls, who is pictured presenting Patricia with a card, flowers and a gift voucher, added: "The trust would like to thank Patricia for all her years of commitment and hard work. We are lucky to have so many staff who provide the hospital with years of dedication."
