AMOENA, a manufacturer of post-mastectomy products with a base near Southampton, is launching a Pink Ribbon bra and briefs set to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Donations from sales of the new lingerie will go to charities Breast Cancer Care and the Ulster Cancer Foundation, as well as four regional breast care units in the UK.
Amoena is donating £1 for every Pink Ribbon bra sold throughout the year, as well as handing over all profits from the sales of that particular range throughout next month.
The UK subsidiary of parent company Coloplast has its administrative centre, a warehouse and a showroom at Eagle Close, Chandler's Ford.
Amoena, which employs 15 people locally, also uses the headquarters for mail ordering and to supply NHS hospitals.
