REDWOODS Estate Agents has announced it is relocating its headquarters to Tadley.
Redwoods, which currently runs its operations from Hartland House, Winchester Street, Basingstoke, is waiting to complete the purchase of the old LANkind building at Mulfords Hill, Tadley.
The company also intends to change about 1,000sqft of existing office space downstairs into a sales area at the front of the building and construct a new shop front in order to relocate its current Tadley sales office from across the road in The Parade.
The new premises will accommodate a 16-strong workforce.
Redwoods managing director Jeff Bevins said: "I am delighted with the new premises and the opportunities that it offers to the Redwoods business.
"With the help of our staff and the support of our many customers, we have built up the business successfully over recent years, but have now outgrown our existing building.
"This move will enable us to develop new ventures, provide a better environment for our staff and improved services for our customers, with modern offices and plenty of parking.
"Tadley has always been an important marketplace for us and we are very pleased to be bringing our head office to the town as well as establishing an improved sales office for our customers."
Mr Bevins said he hoped to complete the purchase of the new building by October 4, move in by the end of October, and complete all refurbishment by January, 2005.
He added that the extra space would allow the company to develop its luxury homes and commercial property sales.
