CALOR Village of the Year: The presentation held last Friday went off successfully.
All guests and representatives from other villages were welcomed by Bruce Batting.

The Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire, Mary Fagan, presented the awards.

Sherfield received a plaque as overall winner, and a group photo of residents was taken outside the hall.
NWR: Met last week, and joined Bramley for the evening.
Gill said: "It was good to see Bramley NWR, and the speaker, Brian Spicer, was very interesting.
"He was agent to Lord Camrose at Hackwood House for many years and had lots of stories to tell about the characters living and working there."
