Horton Heath has received a council grant to improve its community centre.
The centre has been awarded £1,000 by Hampshire County Council towards the installation of a sound system and a loop system for those with hearing difficulties.
Councillor John Waddington, the council's executive member for recreation and heritage, said: "The council is committed to ensuring communities have access to recreational, educational, social and cultural facilities which will enhance their lives.
"Buildings like this play a pivotal role in village life and it is important that they are kept in good condition so that everyone in the community is able to enjoy them in a safe and pleasant environment."
