ALBA Lucia Henao-Milne's passion for art is almost as strong as her passion for her home country of Colombia.
She has decided to combine the two by organising an exhibition of work by artists from her native land - in Eastleigh.
Alba, 40, moved to Chandler's Ford from South America after marrying Southampton-based civil servant Simon Milne.
She has worked as an ambassador for Colombia in the UK, forging cultural and artistic links between the two countries and has already organised art exhibitions in London. The exhibition, Art in the Front Line, will be on display at Chandler's Ford Gallery in Hiltingbury Road from next month.
Alba, of Kelburn Close, said: "I wanted to introduce people to Latin American art. Colombia is a vibrant country with lots of colour and flowers."
Art in the Front Line opens on October 7. The gallery is open from 9am to 7pm except on Saturday, when it closes at 6pm.
