COLLINGBOURNE Ducis parishioners joined forces for their church fete, village show and dog show and raised £1,900 which will go towards the St Andrew's Church building fund.
Villagers were able to view the current refurbishment work at the Collingbourne Ducis Village Hall, after a one-year closure.
Inside the hall a cake stall and sweet tombola were all raising money and teas were served from the new kitchen.
A mosaic made especially for the fete by villagers took two days to produce.
It depicts scenes from the traditional Bun and Penny Day where residents from Court Farm, usually the farmer and his wife, give out a bun and a penny to every child in the village school.
