THIS is the scene left at a Hampshire beauty spot after travellers were moved on.
Half Moon Common, between Wellow and Bramshaw, was left strewn with rubbish and human and dog faeces following the group's stay of just under a week.
It is thought the clean-up operation will cost about £1,500.
The National Trust, which owns the site off Black Hill Road, had to take legal action to get the travellers evicted.
Trust property manager Barry Futter said: "They have left human faeces and dog faeces all over the place, plus three fire sites and common or garden rubbish. They left a huge mess.
"We will have to do what we can to repair the fire sites. I have been managing the property for more than ten years and it's the first time we have had travellers on it."
