LEGAL eagles in Southampton have held a fundraising evening to help local people living with cancer.
Solicitor Nick Turner, who has been recruited by Macmillan Cancer Relief to run in the New York Marathon in November, organised the fundraiser at Paris Smith & Randall.
All proceeds, along with what he raises in his Big Apple fundraiser, will go to the charity's South Hampshire Appeal.
The Daily Echo-backed campaign aims to raise £1m to fund a dedicated cancer information and support centre at Southampton General Hospital.
Nick, who works in the tax and estate planning department at Paris Smith & Randall, is currently in training for the gruelling 26.2 mile challenge. Now his colleagues have helped out with a fundraising auction.
