Andover Thrashers, formed only eight months ago, took on Team England in a nine-a-side flag football match at Harrow Way School on Sunday and ran out victorious 16-12.
Enjoying home field advantage for the first time, Andover were spurred on as they took on Team England, who were making their preperations for the World Cup in Florida in February.
Team England opted to start with possession but if they had expected an easy ride they were in for a big shock.
