THE Rose Bowl may be the home of Hampshire Cricket but it's also making quite a name for itself as a top venue on the comedy circuit.
The West End ground is becoming a regular venue for stand-up comedians and next month they have another great double dose of laughs.
Three great acts from the national comedy circuit are performing at The Rose Bowl on Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2.
Headlining the shows is familiar face from television Junior Simpson, who has appeared on numerous shows, including Never Mind the Buzzcocks and In the Dark with Junior Simpson. The Londoner is known for his personal offbeat view of the world which he presents with style, confidence and some mimicry.
He will be joined by Brian Higgins - one of Scotland's finest comedians - and Kevin McCarthy. He derives his comedy from life's ups and downs, his childhood and his days as a paramedic.
He has headlined in clubs as far afield as Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Kevin has an ever-changing routine and seems to find humour in any subject, no matter how obtuse.
Tickets for the shows are priced £14. For more information call the box office on: 023 8047 2002.
