ACCLAIMED poet Tom Paulin is coming to Basingstoke's Haymarket Theatre in A Bit of a Do.
Appearing regularly as a contributor on Newsnight Review, Tom was immortalised in the Adam and Joe show as a fluffy tortoise - due, in part, to how slowly he speaks.
Without question, he is one of Ireland's outstanding writers of poems and plays, known to many for his often eccentric views and legendary spats with Germaine Greer.
He will be joined by renowned author, poet and Whitbread Prize-winner Bernard O'Donoghue, traditional Irish singer and musician Mick Henry, legendary guitarist Gerald Garcia and John Pethica on fiddle and accordion.
Taking place this Saturday, it is a terrific celebration of Irish music, poetry and prose.
Tickets, priced £10 and £15, are available from the box office on 0870 770 1088.
