IF YOU like fairytales, get your skates on and glide down to The Mayflower theatre to get your tickets for their latest show.

The Southampton theatre is playing host to The Imperial Ice Stars early next year as part of the company's first ever UK tour.

The company will be performing their exciting new production of The Sleeping Beauty on Ice at the theatre in February.

The Imperial Ice Stars take their audience to a magical world where they perform dazzling skating feats while telling the ever- popular story of the Sleeping Beauty and her Prince, all set to Tchaikovsky's romantic music.

The show is a treat for fans of dance, ice skating, good old romantic stories and all-round entertainment.

Featuring 22 Olympic, World, National and European Championship skaters, it offers you a truly spectacular and unique theatrical experience, combining the brilliance of ice skating with the intimacy of the theatre.

The show is suitable for all the family and gives theatregoers a real treat to look forward to in the New Year.

The Sleeping Beauty on Ice comes to The Mayflower from February 15 to 19.
