SHOW time: There were a good number of entries and very high-quality vegetables, again, in the Sherfield Show.
That was the verdict of Natalie Larner and Sally Brain, organisers of the show.
Gwen Moring won a staggering six trophies, including sharing the Farms Cup with newcomer Elizabeth Brewer.
Other winners included Mike Reed, Bill Watson, Richard Elphick, Gordon Brain and Donald Dawson.
Taran Angell, Charlotte and Sam Cooper were children's trophy winners.
Sue and Anne Cooper won the Crowson Cup and Bramley Camp Shield respectively (joint with Barbara Elmor).
Newcomer Andrew Jesney won the Lyde Cup for "Cake baked by a man".
Donald Dawson thanked the show organisers for donating proceeds this year to the church steeple fund.
After the raffle had been drawn Brian Raisborough got the auction under way.
Sally mentioned it was a great village event, one of those that contributed to us being awarded Hampshire Village of the Year.
Photos are now on show in the window of Dodd's Garage.
PRESENTATION: Don't forget the presentation next Friday, September 17, from 4pm to 5.30pm, in the village hall, celebrating our recent success in the Calor Village of the Year.
PITCHFORK! will be providing the music on Saturday, September 25, when the Bramley and Romans Floral Society holds its barn dance from 8pm to midnight.
