JUMBLE tumble: Next Saturday, September 18, at the village hall.
The proceeds are in aid of the hall.
It would seem that some of the crockery has disappeared and is in need of replacing.
We all know about the hard work that many villagers put into the running of such a great facility.
So, if you have any sort of saleable commodity that could be used to help raise the much-needed funds, you should put it in the outer porch of the hall during the next week.
Sandy Rice is appealing for help on the day. She is in need of sorters and sellers.
If you can help, call 477637.
NEIGHBOURHOOD Watch: Anne Reid is the village co-ordinator.
There are in excess of 40 street co-ordinators, who pass information to more than 1,200 homes in the village, which also includes Lychpit.
Anne is appealing for more participation from additional co-ordinators.
If you want to help your neighbours by popping a note through their doors to let them know there are undesirables on the prowl, give it some thought and pop along to the AGM, in the pavilion at the recreation ground on Tuesday, at 8pm, or call Anne on 333388.
