THESE children at a New Forest school have developed a novel approach to concentrating in class - starting the day with aerobics sessions.
Year 2 pupils at Blackfield Infant School are using the ten-minute exercise sessions first thing in the morning to get the blood flowing to the brain.
Hazel Ironside, head teacher of the 155-member school in Hampton Lane, Blackfield, said: "Many pupils come to school by car and research shows children who walk in are brighter and more ready to learn. We decided to try and improve their concentration and learning by starting the day with aerobics for them."
