SOUTHAMPTON public relations agency Remarkable is urging Hampshire businesses to support plans for a memorial garden to the 67 British citizens who died in the World Trade Center disaster.
Remarkable, formerly GMX, represents the British Memorial Garden Trust which is the subject of a £1m appeal targeting City businesses.
But the firm's Stephen Pomeroy hopes more local companies will get involved too.
He said: "It would be superb if some of the regional businesses are able to support this appeal and contribute to this unique garden in New York - a fitting memorial to the British citizens who died in the tragedy."
