ANDOVER detectives are investigating a possible arson attack after a man was dragged out of a smoke-filled, Roman Way flat above a garage where a car was on fire.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a burning Ford Escort XR3 in a ground floor garage of a block of four flats in Tiberius Road, at around 2am on Tuesday.
Firefighters broke into two flats and dragged out a 37-year-old man, rescucitating him five times before he was taken to the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester and treated for smoke inhalation. For the full story see Friday's Andover Advertiser
