King's Somborne FC have recently attained the FA's Charter Standard status, through the Hampshire FA.
The scheme aims to provide a nationally recognised quality control kitemark, improve the quality of provision for boys and girls, sustain participation for players over a longer period, and raise standards.
Sacha Nicholas, Hampshire FA county development manager, presented club chairman Dick Dyke with a plaque to mark the achievement at the final of Somborne's pre-season youth tournament on Saturday.
