Brading Town 1 Whitchurch United 2
Whitchurch made the long trip to Brading on a glorious day and came away with all three points after a good all round team performance while missing Andy Kitson (work), Gary Shaughnessy (injured) and Marcus Williams (University).
United had to kick up the slope in the first half and after 11 minutes were grateful to a goal line clearance from Cliff Power, after David Greening went around Dave Smalley.
Greening collected the rebound but Smalley saved well, for the ball to fall to Danny Hooker who blasted well wide.
United's first chance fell in the 20th minute when Lee Collins toe-ended Ricky Attridge's cross just wide.
