THE mighty Australia warmed up for the start of the ICC Champions Trophy yesterday at Hampshire's Rose Bowl HQ.
The party included Hants overseas stars Michael Clarke and Shane Watson as the players were made to feel very much at home.
England look to be on collision course with the Aussies in the semi-final - if they get that far. Even without Michael Bevan and Shane Warne in their line-up, they have maintained that winning habit since lifting the World Cup in Johannesburg last year and have reeled off 14 successive one-day wins against England since their last defeat against them at Sydney in January, 1999.
And, for England to end that sequence, they will need big players like Andrew Flintoff and Steve Harmison to be at their very best.
