ENDURANCE races are rare at Thruxton but on Saturday the Hampshire circuit stages a round of the EERC Britcar Endurance Series - a two-hour race for sports and saloon cars.
The Britcar entry includes a host of well-known drivers including former British Touring Car Championship big-guns Andy Rouse, David Leslie and Eugene O'Brien as well as British rally legend Gwydaf Evans and local favourites like Alan Blencowe and Nigel Mustill from Salisbury.
Former British GT champion Calum Lockie teams up with Winchester's David Smith in a BMW M3.
A varied programme, including two races for the MSA 250cc Kart Championship, starts at 11.50am with admission at £10 (accompanied children free).
