ALMOST 100 people turned out to enjoy the glorious sunshine in a Southampton vicar's garden, as they took part in a parish family fun day.
Members of St Mark's Church, off Victoria Road, Woolston, enjoyed a barbecue, bouncy castle, tug-of-war contest and face-painting at the special afternoon on Saturday.
The event took place in the Rev Miles Newton's vicarage garden in Swift Road, Woolston. Parishioner Betty Burns said: "Entry was free, so it wasn't really a fundraising day although we did collect some money for the church. It was just a chance for the community to get together and enjoy themselves."
