THREE of Great Britain's Olympic silver medal-winning three-day event team in Athens competed in the Highclere one-day event at Highclere Castle.
Pippa Funnell, William Fox-Pitt and Jeanette Brakewell were among the field trying to aid the Spinal Injuries Association.
Funnell, also a bronze medallist in the individual event in Athens, did the best at the Berkshire venue.
In the advanced intermediate class, she managed a one-two with her horses in K section, riding Ensign to victory and Viceroy II into second spot.
In J section of the same class, Funnell collected another second, this time on Chamrock.
Brakewell also celebrated a second place in the intermediate class G section, partnering Equinox Sidewinder.
Fox-Pitt, forced to withdraw from the Olympic event when fourth because of an injury to his horse, had a tough day.
His best finish was 10th on Mr Dumbledore in the advanced intermediate class J.
The event attracted a good turn-out for the open pre-novice, pre-novice, intermediate and advanced intermediate classes.
