Eastleigh youngsters who need extra tuition in key subjects such as maths have a new option.

The Kip McGrath education Centre, which has opened in Eastleigh High Street, will help children develop these skills.

It has been set up by Sean Leaver, who has 15 years experience teaching in Southampton schools, and Todd Diamond.

Sean is responsible for the educational aspects of the centre while Todd is in charge of administration.

The Eastleigh centre is opening at a time when the emphasis on improving standards, particularly in basic skills, is at the heart of educational debate.

Kip McGrath Education Centre has helped thousands of children from all over the world achieve and exceed their academic targets for over 25 years.

There are now more than 100 centres in the UK. The Eastleigh centre offers a unique service to parents which includes a free diagnostic assessment for children to discover their academic strengths and weaknesses.

Children are taught by fully qualified experienced teachers who place a strong emphasis on motivation and success.

The Kip McGrath education programme caters for the individual needs of children aged six to 16.

Both Sean and Todd are hoping that the new centre will complement the work done in local schools and would like to forge links with them.

Their aim is to contribute to the community by helping children succeed at school.
