TOTALLY Tennis performance player Jenny Peebles won the under-10 girls' title at the County Closed tournament held last week at Aldershot Tennis Centre.
The 10-year-old, who was the number one seed, breezed through her first match to meet Katie Beeton in the final, where she won 6-1, 6-4 to take the title.
Fellow performance player Dominique Gilbert, who was the under-10 champion at the Berkshire County Closed last summer, was runner-up in the under-12 competition this year.
Gilbert, also 10 and seeded at two, entered the tournament with the other seeded players at the semi-final stage.
She won her first match, against Victoria King, 6-2, 6-0, which put her into the final.
Her opponent there was number one seed Rebecca Wyatt, who went on to take the title 6-2, 6-4.
In the boys' under-12 event at Aldershot, Luke Miles, 11, seeded four, defeated Totally Tennis team-mate Tom Mahoney in his first match 7-5, 3-6, 6-1.
Miles then bowed out of the competition at the semi-final stage, losing to number one seed Daniel Cochrane 6-2, 6-1.
David Charlton was overall runner-up in the under-12 event, losing to Cochrane in the final.
Charlton and Miles then teamed up to compete in the under-14 doubles, where they reached the semi-finals.
Another runner-up was Jack Waissen, who was seeded two in the under-14 event.
He won his first match, against Liam Forder, 6-2, 6-1, his second, against Cochrane, 7-5, 6-4, and his third, against Jake Macey, 6-4, 6-1.
Waissen then lost out to Southampton's James Chowdry 6-2, 6-1.
His brother, Matthew Waissen, went out at the quarter-final stage.
The brothers teamed up for the doubles before going out in the semi-finals.
Peebles' coach Jason Jokhoo said: "Jenny is playing fantastic tennis at the moment. She consistently works to the best of her ability and is always a pleasure to teach. She thoroughly deserves this title."
