THE CRITICALLY acclaimed West End production of Round The Horne...Revisited embarks on a major national tour starting today.
The smash-hit production of the legendary radio series opens tonight at The Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth, before visiting a further twelve venues across the country.
Round The Horne, first broadcast in 1965, attracted audiences of 15 million at its peak, before its final airing in 1969.
Politically incorrect, rude and disdainful, the show was also very, very, funny, making it one of the most popular comedies of its era.
Brian Cooke presents two live episodes in this new production, as well as new sketches from old favourites Rambling Syd Rumpo and ageing juvenile Binkie Huckabuck.
Directed by Michael Kingsbury, the tour features a brand new cast, including Stephen Critchlow as the legendary Kenneth Horne.
Round the Horne...Revisited runs at The Pavilion Theatre until September 12.
Tickets are priced from £17. For more information, call the box office on 0870 1113000.
