NETLEY Central Sports must wait another week before their first-ever game in the brand new Hampshire League 2004.
That was because they called off their curtain-raiser against Sporting BTC on Saturday because they couldn't raise a side.
The game which produced the best result was the eight-goal thriller between Mottisfont and Andover New Street.
Andover settled down more quickly and grabbed three goals between the 25th and 30th minutes.
Five minutes later Mottisfont were back in the game when Alan Bundy was fouled and Kevin Fryer converted the resultant penalty.
Bundy levelled the scores with two goals in a minute just before the hour mark.
Mottisfont continued to press and were amazingly in the lead on 64 minutes through Ian Bradwell.
As shell-shocked Andover pressed for an equaliser, Mottisfont broke late on to make it 5-3 through Matthew Street.
John Stevens gave Vernham Dean a deserved 1-1 draw against Winchester City, who had gone ahead on the half-hour mark through a Phil Holden shot from outside the penalty area.
A goal in the last minute from Ed Nix sealed M&T Awbridge's 2-0 victory over Broughton. John Portlock had put them ahead.
The only team from the Portstmouth area, East Lodge, won 4-2 at Fair Oak.
On target for the visitors were Longhurst, Farley, Hill and Sullivan. Genry and Allen replied.
