A FAREHAM dog lover is curing all kinds of canine complaints with her form of doggy treatment with a difference.
Debbie MacDonald has turned her hobby into a business and set up a canine hydrotherapy pool in the garden of her Paxton Road home.
Although she has been doing canine hydrotherapy for about six years, she has now applied for planning permission to continue, as the business is expanding.
Mrs MacDonald first got involved when her American bulldog Daisy was suffering from arthritis and she was forced to travel several miles for treatment.
Now Daisy, and black Labrador Barney, like nothing better than to take to the water.
Mrs MacDonald said: "It's mainly for dogs who have injuries or are suffering with arthritis. It's just a way for them to recover in half the time they otherwise would.
"The dogs are able to exercise without weight bearing and they love it."
