Andover II v Fareham and Crofton
Andover II raced to a crushing victory against Fareham and Crofton at London Road last Saturday.
They were already guaranteed promotion, and were chasing table topping Fair Oak for the title on the last day of the season, but an equally crushing victory over Eastleigh by Fair Oak meant that it was all in vain.
Andover won the toss and elected to bowl first on a track showing the signs of the heavy rain during the week. It was not until the 11th over that the decision was proved right when Dancer (2-19) and Andy Hooper took five wickets in three overs reducing the visitors to 46-5.
