STOCKBRIDGE came out the other side of the Bank Holiday sitting proudly at the top of Division Two of the Wessex League unbeaten after four games and with four points in their pocket from the holiday fixtures.
Manager Barry Andrews was missing three players at a wedding and a further one injured as his squad took on AFC Aldermaston on Saturday at the Recreation Ground.
The Berkshire side are again bottom of the table after four games but their football impressed Andrews who admitted that for a spell in the second half his Stockbridge side were overrun.
