THREE Hardley Runners competed in the British Duathlon Championships at Olney in Buckinghamshire and brought back two national medals.
Louise Gould, Mick Anglim and Steve Freeman took part in the Age Group Championships which were staged at Emberton Country Park.
The event included a four-lap 10km run around a lake, a two-lap hilly 40km bike course and a final two-lap 5km run.
Anglim won silver in the over-55 category for the third consecutive year, missing gold by 24 seconds over 2hr 5 minutes.
Gould collected her first individual national medal with bronze in the over 30 category.
Freeman was competing in his first national Championship and had an excellent result, finishing in fifth place in the over-35 category.
The three will be joined by clubmatess Kevin King and Howard Doe for the European Duathlon Championships to be held in Swansea in September.
