PAMBER Heath late summer bazaar and produce show: Saturday, September 4, at Pamber Heath Village Hall, doors open at noon.
Come along and browse the stalls with items for sale, then, at 2pm, have a look at the prize-winning items in the produce show.
Refreshments will be available from 12.30pm.
The hall committee welcomes any items for the raffle, tombola, cake stall or bric-a-brac (not jumble).
Contact me on the above number for more details or if you want to hire a table.
CHARITY quiz night: Friday, September 10, at 7.30pm, at Pamber Heath Village Hall, in aid of the charity REGAIN, which helps men and women who have been paralysed as a result of a sporting accident.
Tickets are £6, including supper, and can be obtained from Heather and Ian Melrose on 0118 9700984.
PROPOSAL: Mums, dads and carers, did you know that there is a proposal to restrict waiting on the roads at The Green, Tadley, in the near future (see last week's Gazette for details of the proposed order)?
This could seriously affect people collecting their children from Tadley School.
