SUN filled the sky and music filled the air as this year's Brockenhurst Carnival snaked through the village roads in style.
A yellow submarine, a blue canoe and two vintage cars were among travel choices for the annual procession.
Dancing schoolgirls and a cheerleader troupe merrily strolled through the leafy New Forest village.
Carnival princess and Priestlands School pupil Emma Whitworth, 14, rewrote the book on classy entrances - as she pulled into Brockenhurst College playing field in a powerboat.
Brockenhurst Playgroup, who soaked spectators with bubble guns and water pistols, took first prize for floats with their John Deere-tractor towed yellow submarine entry.
The Busy Badgers won first prize in the walking category with their modern day Noah's Ark.
Hundreds of Forest residents descended on the college playing fields to hear the final results of the parade.
Crowds were also entertained by local music groups the swing-toting Cavalier Jazz Band and DRM who rocked listeners with hits by Jimi Hendrix.
All money raised by the event, organised between the Lymington Lions Club and the New Forest Lions Club, will go charity.
