THREE quick-fire headers in a devastating five minute spell just before half time helped power FA Vase winners and SWL champions Winchester City to a 4-1 victory at Kent League side Lordswood.
The spree started on 39 minutes when Mark Jones headed on a Mark Smith free-kick for Jamie Laidlaw to nod past the home keeper and, three minutes later, Ian Mancey headed in a second after the keeper had fumbled another Smith delivery.
City's smooth passage into the next round was effectively sealed on 44 minutes, Matt Bicknell's free-kick into the near post being met by the head of Mark Blake to make it 3-0.

A Ryan Hughes header from Luke Brooks' corner kick put Town ahead on 35 minutes with Floyd Hamoudu's close-range finish from a Steve Boston cross after 75 minutes sealing matters.
"I'm very pleased with the win and we probably should have scored a few more goals but at least we are heading in the right direction," said Fareham manager Louis Savage.
AFC Totton will have home advantage for their replay against Sussex League Whitehawk tomorrow after the two sides drew 1-1.
The visitors moved ahead on 20 minutes. Scott Bundy was brought down in the penalty area andhe picked himself up to slot home the resultant spot-kick.
