Chandler's Ford bookworms who have been without a library since the beginning of the month are to get a new temporary base.
Shutters went up on the library at Oakmount Road on August 7 as a £169,000 makeover scheme swung into action.
Eastleigh carnival queen Emma Aplin and princesses Kirsty Cole and Katherine Harvey are due to officially open the doors of a new temporary library in the Central Precinct on Tuesday.
The temporary unit will be in operation until the main building reopens on December 20 following extensive refurbishment and redecoration.
The temporary location will enable library users to access a good range of books, videos and spoken word cassettes.

The People's Network computer terminals will not be available in the temporary library because of the limited space. Those wanting to use the service will be able to book sessions at Eastleigh library.
The makeover at Oakmount Road will include improved lighting and a new lift facility, enabling better access to the first floor.
Hampshire County Council executive member for recreation and heritage Councillor John Waddington said: "The refurbishment is part of our plan to develop library buildings and services to ensure that people keep using libraries for years to come.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused while these improvements are being carried out. We are sure people will enjoy using the revamped library when it opens in December."
The usual Chandler's Ford library opening hours will apply for the temporary library.
