Eastleigh Council's over-60s arts programme, Elders Share Arts, is going from strength to strength.
Started in 1996, it gives people aged 60 and over the chance to work with professional artists on a range of different projects in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
Three groups meet each week in Eastleigh, Chandler's Ford and Botley and have studied everything from pottery and poetry to ceramics and calligraphy.
This September sees an exhibition of some of the work produced in recent months at The Point.
A new term starts in September at the Ritchie Hall, Chandler's Ford on Tuesdays, Eastleigh on Wednesdays and Botley Community Centre on Fridays.
Activities include silk-painting, card-making and quilting. All sessions run from 11 am to 1pm and cost £3.50, including materials.
For more information call Gjenya Cambray on 023 8062 7805 or visit The Point, Eastleigh.
